Previous to my career as a Restaurant Manager, I was a carer for a quadriplegic person for 2 years which was a highly rewarding time in my life. Despite his handicap, he drove to work every day and enjoyed his life to the fullest which was inspiring to witness. Another inspiration in my life was my grandfather who suffered from dementia in his late life. As a young child, I assisted my mother and grandmother everyday, helping my grandfather with whatever I could until his last days. These experiences have strengthened my empathetic attitude towards people, allowing me to have managed several successful businesses that heavily relied on building customer relationships. Through my 35 years experience as a Restaurant Manager and Front of House Personnel, my strength is in customer service. I strongly believe that the foundation behind successful communication with customers and patients are the same. For both personas, you must be genuine and care from the bottom of your heart. I have dealt with varying types of people, allowing myself to be capable of caring for a multi-generational range of people. I am quite positive that my skills and experiences gained during my 35 years in customer service can be transferable into a highly valuable caretaker. ^& ^&Engage with some from the bottom of your heart and then you will understand and respect this person. Also through enjoying any types of sports together help me to create bond with these people.^&
