About
As a first-year Postgraduate Social Work student, being able to practice what I learn and becoming a compassionate Social Carer are goals of mine. Losing an important family member at the age of 18 and then suffering major loss from COVID-19, I realise that life is temporary and we should make our life more meaningful by helping others. At the end of the day, life is all about sharing and caring. I see myself as not only bubbly, cheerful, but also tender-hearted, well-organised, and responsible individual. Born and raised in Vietnam, but currently living and pursuing a career in Australia, I deeply understand the cultural differences between the West and the East, which significantly helps me deliver culturally competent social services to those in needs. ^& ^&I will organise/attend workshops with people with the same hobbies, listen to them, and do things together with them. Example: sit down and do water colouring together with the residents.^&
