My desire to become a Social Carer is driven by my deep-rooted passion for improving the lives of others and my commitment to pursuing a career in Counselling. As a Social Carer, I endeavour to make a tangible difference in the lives of those living with disabilities, helping them to achieve the best possible outcomes in life and fostering their overall well-being. My skills as an attentive listener and ability to understand and effectively respond to other people's emotions undoubtedly serve me well in this role, enabling me to provide the support and care that individuals need to thrive. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology at Macquarie University. Upon completion, I wish to develop the high-level skills required to practice as a counsellor by completing a Master of Counselling. Over the past four years, my dedication to this particular field of study has only grown stronger, so I am eager to put this knowledge into practice! In addition to full-time study, I have been working casually as a domestic housekeeper/cleaner. I pride myself on being highly organised and meticulous, always striving to complete tasks to the best of my ability. My engaging and friendly personality, along with my excellent communication and listening skills, are assets that I bring to this role. In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing with family and friends, staying active at the gym, shopping and indulging in my (unusual) love for cleaning and organising. Despite the demands of university life, I am more than willing to devote any additional hours of my time to supporting those in need, embodying the spirit of a dedicated and compassionate Social Carer.
