I am a people-person....always have been.....with running track record of always bring the 'lame ducks' home. I have an affinity for people that need help / companionship and find that I get along quite amicably with people from all walks of life, regardless of age/gender/socio-economic status/belief system etc etc etc. I am empathic and a good listener and can pick up quite readily on things said between the lines. My greatest tool in my 'toolkit' is my resourcefulness and broad imagination. I have adept creative and problem solving skills that allow me to respond in many various ways depending on the context and the ease within which I can apply myself. I guess that's it, really.....I intuitively gravitate towards wanting to help and/or encourage people in whichever way I can - IF I can. Moreover, I find it is crucial to be able to help someone in a way that actually empowers them and enables them to independently carry forth , rather than making them feel dependant on someone. Thus, adjusting to where 'someone is at'....is imperative. I have a naturally bubbly and cheerful disposition.....am compassionate- but also firm when necessary. I am educated and well travelled and have an open and flexible attitude,..with a willingness to learn every day. ^& ^&With baskets and baskets filled to the brim with a myriad of different arts and crafts projects awaiting their discovery! With many a different medium to explore (or reunite with), small 'workshops' such as these, can stimulate and revive the creative and expressive forces within a human.....in a safe, non-judgemental and multi-faceted way. All humans are different....so the necessity of providing a well-targeted variety of differing modalities is important. Preferably, all these little 'workshop' settings ought to be outdoors, somewhere beneath the shade of a tree. It would be a lovely way of gathering together a small circle of people.... and simply getting to know each other whilst having a bit of fun at the same time. ^&
