About
My names Mia, I would consider myself a compassionate and empathetic person with an outgoing and friendly personality. During my time at school I would volunteer at the local nursing home and adored meeting the residents and appreciated the life stories shared with me. I also was a babysitter during highschool and absolutely loved it! Once I finished school I worked with TASK (The After School Klub), which consisted of helping students with their homework, arts and craft, supervising play equipment use as well as creating fun and engaging activities. I enjoy helping others and have a positive attitude in everything I undertake. I appreciate unique personalities and am open to new experiences. I am currently studying psychology honours at Macquarie University, a reflection of my desire to help others wellbeing and shed positivity. In my spare time I love to try out new recipes (especially baking), walking my two dogs, playing the PS4, trying out new cafes, and going to museums and art galleries! I also enjoy outdoor activities, and would love the opportunity to meet and build relationships with people from Like Family.
