I love people and I'm passionate about life. I make the most of every situation. I strongly believe that we overcome life's challenges through shared experiences. Due to my multicultural background, I have learned to listen carefully and ensure communication is not lost in translation. 11 Years as a horticulturist at the Royal Botanic Gardens taught me connection to country. 14 Years as a florist at Government House taught me about community. My ongoing studies in Philosophy have given me the education necessary for me to accept the privileged responsibility of caring for others. I am creative, outgoing, energetic, practical, problem solving, happy and resilient. My approach to life is to maximise opportunities for fun, learning and making strong connections. A healthy community is a sustainable one. For me this includes sharing values, responsibilities and experiences: making the most of our shared resources. Music has been a present part of my life. I play piano and have studied from age 5 through to University. Fine arts have shaped my formative years which led to a career in Floristry. I like making everything. Clothes, furniture, sculptures, plans, drawing, painting and dinner. I have and use most hand tools. After migrating to Sydney in 1999, I pursued a career in Landscape Design and Installation to quench my passion for nature. Sydney is my paradise for providing the various biological communities readily available to explore and enjoy. I love food - equally consuming and preparing it. It's cultural, creative, a health oriented obsession, a learning journey and best when shared. I regularly cook for groups of 20 or more. I have qualifications in teaching, tour guiding, horticulture, landscape design and floristry. I am flexible and super keen to help out in any way. I am community minded and know that when you have the right fit, a lot of magic happens.
