I have always had passion for assisting people most in need, helping others and creating a positive impact every day is a satisfying experience. I believe helping one person or a family, has a positive domino effect in assisting the community as a whole. I also carry traits that would make me an ideal candidate working as a social carer, such as; I am empathetic and compassionate: I genuinely care for the well-being of other in particular in social aspects. I am very patient and can easily put myself in other people's shoes, in other words, I have excellent understanding for individuals various situations and choices they make. I am also adaptable to different social settings and carry a non-judgmental attitude. ^& ^&First and foremost, I would make sure this particular skill would be beneficial for this particular individual/family, then I would define my goals and reasoning for sharing this particular skill to the person. After that, I would gather any resources together that would help the person understand how to implement this/ese skills. I would create a step by step process of how to successfully reach the goal and go through them with the individual/family. After this being said and done, I would take one step further and put these steps into practice together with the person/family. ^&
