Hi, my name is Aileen. I'm 33 year old from Scotland with over 10 years experience in the disability sector as both a disability support worker and Occupational Therapist. I have experience working in hospital and care facility environments as well as working in clients own home. I have experience working with all ages newborn/neonatal all the way up to elderly and end of life care. With a variety of experience with many different health and cognitive conditions. My particular strengths lie in moving and handling and am fully competent utilising hoisting equipment and slings. I have experience working with clients with high medical needs but also feel comfortable working with any person that may need additional support. Ultimately I enjoy getting to know people and supporting them with whatever they require - and this is something I have based my career on. I have recently moved to Sydney for some life experience, some sunshine and a more relaxed way of life. Let me know if you think I could be a good fit for any service you may require. I would regularly initiate activities with the residents that were engaging and graded to the abilities of the individuals taking part. Some favorite activities would be Karaoke, Dancing to music, board games and jigsaw puzzles, guided meditation and "chair yoga". ^&
