I wanted to become a Social worker because I love working with people and while growing up I had a chance to work as an au pair for a family with 4 kids. This has taught me patience, responsibility for taking care of others and creativity. I had to always make some schedule for the following day and entertain the kids. It was a really beautiful experience and I am glad for it...However, what motivated me the most to become a social worker was when my cousin was diagnosed with mental illness. I used to visit her at home and also when she was at the psychiatry. I tried to talk with her and do some activities. I could observe how she reacts and what makes her feel happier and more talkative. She is a very challenging case because people with her disorder can never have a full-featured life and be healthy again. Also, I think I can be a good social worker because I like to motivate people in need, achieve their goals and try to help them reach a milestone. I like to make the schedule for the following day with some creative ideas or perhaps games, or activities to keep the person motivated. Additionally, I want to mention I have been doing yoga since I was 21. This year it will be 10 years of practising. Through all these years I taught myself perseverance, regularity and how healthy it is to connect your body with your mind. Yoga can help anybody with busy mind and spine problems. I love to meditate, I love to give bits of advice and I also love giving yoga lessons. I am a certified yoga teacher. Besides yoga I enjoy art. Sometimes, I paint and I love going to museums, galleries and ballet performances. In conclusion, I am a very active person while doing some outdoor activities, I always remember there are a few things you must do at home. Cooking, baking and housekeeping are same important for me as outdoor activities.
