I am currently working in aged care as a specialised dementia career. I have been there for almost three years and have loved every single minute. I am a very caring and empathetic person who loves to help others. I feel as though it is the most rewarding job knowing you can make a different in a persons life and bring happiness and love. I have loved my job working in aged but feel as though I’m ready for the next chapter and ready to learn and grow as much as I can in this industry. I am a very family orientated person. I come from a big family and as the older sister I have always cared for my younger siblings and always had a caring nature since I was a little girl. I am kind, patient and always a friend to confide in or a listening ear. During my time working as a specialised dementia career and with certain things happening in my person life, I have found that I am a very resilient person. I will always try and find a positive outcome in any situation and love to try help others feel the same. I am currently completing community services cert 3, which I am loving. I have such strong bonds with my current residents and their families. I feel as though it’s not just a job to me but more like being at a second home with my family. ^& ^&I am a bubbly person who loves to make the most out of life and each day. I would bring a positive happy attitude and love to share that with others. I am very into photography. I feel as though photos are so sentimental and speak a thousand words. I love finding special spots to adventure and take photos. I’d love to share that with someone who has similar interests and show some of the beautiful spots I’ve found and adventure together to take photos to keep as memories forever. I also love arts and crafts, I feel as though being creative not only has calming effects but can be a healing outlet, it also allows you to express yourself in ways that you might not be able to verbally, physically or emotionally^&
