My sister-in-law is a care worker for kids with Autism and the elderly in Melbourne; even though she is only 18 her example inspired me greatly. I have an extensive background in hospitality and enjoy interacting with people. Now I am looking to bring my skills to a meaningful cause. Time management, communication and patience are my professional strengths, while on a personal level I always do my best to be respectful, friendly and compassionate. As a current visual art student, I love all things creative (anything you can imagine from mosaic to dollmaking) and would love to share my passion with the community. I also enjoy reading on a variety of subjects as well as learning languages (Studied Latin and Ancient Greek at university, currently pursuing Spanish). When my days off coincide with good weather, I grab my board to catch some waves at Manly beach. I am very enthusiastic and always seek out something new to try, whether it’s ballet, sailing, beekeeping or fossicking. I have some volunteering and babysitting experience and I am an active listener with genuine interest in other people’s experiences.
