I love working with people! I grew up sharing my time between my parents as the eldest of three girls. From a young age I became responsible for entertaining and caring for my sisters, and eventually neighbours and friends as I started to babysit and nanny as soon as I was old enough. In my teen years I also coached and trained in local sports centres and loved how fulfilling it felt to connect and assist in my community. After finishing high school, where I studied majority social sciences and psychology courses, I moved to Australia and began working in hospitality. What I found I enjoyed the most about hospitality is the regular interactions with customers and feeling like I was able to positively affect someones day. I believe what would make me a good social carer is that I am patient, able to stay calm, empathetic, a good listener, fun, creative and adventurous. What I am looking for is a career where I am making a positive change and constantly learning about people and different walks of life. I am interested in studying support work and am eager to try working in the field while I am working out my study plan.^& ^&Hosting an arts and crafts day for the community! I would love to share my love for crocheting, knitting, sowing, jewellery making, and scrapbooking. I find hands on activities where you get to be creative so mindful, relaxing and fun. Being able to teach these skills, connect with members of the community and leave them with a new skill or hobby would be an absolute dream.^&
