About

In my current role for the NDIS as a Support worker and Spanish teacher I have put in practice my people-centric nature and high empathy towards helping improve the life of people with disabilities. Throughout this experience I’ve learned how to effectively communicate and get to know the clients deeply, to be able to provide them a better service. I’ve also mastered my patience, adaptability, decision-making skills and capacity to work calmly under high pressure; which are essential tools to work with people, especially while having them under your charge. I am excited to contribute my talents and proficiency in working empathically with people with disabilities toward your team efforts. ^& ^&I would do it through communication and emotional intelligence. I am an empath, therefore my most effective way of sharing a skill or something I’m passionate about is through connecting with people emotionally: learning things we have in common, about their passions, hobbies or background. Once I know the person I can easily find the way to share my own skills and hobbies with them, adjusting to their wants and needs.^&
