I’ve always been motivated by the desire to help others, especially those who face challenges that make daily life harder. Becoming a Social Carer felt like a natural path for me because I’m passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives. I believe I’m good at it because I genuinely care about people’s well-being, and I have a lot of patience and empathy. Over the years, I’ve gained practical experience, and I’ve developed strong communication skills that help me connect with those I support. It’s fulfilling work, and I’m committed to giving my best every day. I love cooking and trying out new recipes, especially when I get to share them with friends and family. I also enjoy arts and crafts – it’s a great way to get creative and unwind. Reading is another big passion of mine, and I like researching different topics to learn something new. I’m currently studying for a Bachelor of Community Service and have completed my placement, where I got hands-on experience with case management, refugee supports, and support coordination. While I’m not yet at a professional level, I’ve had the chance to learn and practice these skills during my placement, which has helped me grow and understand the field better.
