About
I have worked at Rankin Park Hospital for 5 years, which is a rehabilitation hospital for geriatrics, orthopaedic trauma, amputees, stroke and head injury patients. In this time I have worked with patients whilst being a kitchen worker/ Dietry Aide, cleaner, Wardsperson and physiotherapy assistant. I have developed a wide range of knowledge and ability to help patients in defferent ways. I have loved helping my patients and have always been able to develop a strong rapport with them. As a person with a disability myself, I love seeing these people grow and be able to regain independence and reassurance within themselves to be able to discharge home safely.^& ^&I’m hoping my skill of motivation will help someone in the community to do their best and achieve something they want to do. I have a strong back ground in music so would love to see more people out at local gigs and learning instruments as I find it therapeutic ^&
