About
Hi, I am 50 years young and I have three children aged 22, 21 and 19. Two girls and one boy. I also have 2 grandsons, 5 and 1 1/2 My eldest daughter suffered from severe anxiety and depression over a period of three years which started when she was thirteen. It was very challenging helping her through this difficult time. Over the years she continued to see physcologists and doctors and was diagnosed Autistic in 2022. My Dad was a quadriplegic and spent approximately 30 years in a wheelchair. My mother was his full time carer. After he passed away in 2017 I encouraged Mum to write their story. Her book was published in 2022. Over the years I have come to know the challenges that people face both mentally and physically when faced with a disability. My hobbies are line dancing, reading, writing poems and spending time with my healthy community.
