Hi, I’m Nadia! I grew up in Terrigal but have lived in London for most of my adult life. I have travelled the world far and wide (even meeting my Norwegian husband in Colombia!) only to settle back on the Central Coast, one of the most beautiful places in the whole wide world. I have always been passionate about people and animals 😊 I have a huge amount of empathy and compassion, and it fills my cup to know that I can add value to the lives of others. I volunteer for a local charity, Central Coast Kids in Need, and I have a huge love for children. My children are both now at school and are aged 6 and 9. I am forever busy playing games and entertaining or running them to sport, all the while building confidence and providing a safe judgment free space and ensuring a loving and nurturing home life. I also have a beautiful Therapy dog named Albie. He is an Australian Shepherd and I take him to Terrigal House Nursing Home regularly, so I have experience with interacting with the beautiful residents there. I very much enjoy hearing their stories and catching a reflective smile thanks to Albie’s pats and cuddles. I own a Doggy Daycare, DOG Ed Daycare and Training at Gosford, so dogs are a VERY big part of my life. We can always take a visit here if dogs are your thing! I would love to spend time throwing a ball to Albie in a nature reserve, visiting the puppies at my Daycare, bushwalking, bowling, knitting with a fellow knitting enthusiast, going out to cafes, driving around to see some beautiful ocean views, grocery shopping, playing UNO or boardgames, doing puzzles, colouring in, painting, going to the cinema, hearing the laughter of children at a park, visiting The Australian Reptile Park (I have an Annual pass so this activity is free), or just sitting outside watching the world go by and talking with a cuppa. I also want to be available to any experiences that might brighten someone’s day that I might not have listed here. Maybe someone can teach me something! And I am not competitive so I promise when it comes to games, I will put up a good challenge, but odds are you may most likely win!!! I also volunteer for Camp Breakaway. They do regular Mini Olympics events for disabled adults. I love helping people shine in these events no matter what their disability and showing them that they can come away with a Gold. This honestly fills my cup! I promise to give all my positive energy every time I show up😊😊😊
