I wanted to become a social care because i enjoy and love to work with disabled people. My hobbies are cooking, cleaning, sports In my current role as a Patient care Assistant at Tennant Creek Hospital and preciously at Royan Darwin Hospital, I have acquired valuable experience in delivering high-quality patient care within an in-patient setting. I have successfully collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient. My responsibilities have included assisting hospital staff and patients with patients’ daily activities such as personal hygiene, feeding, medication administration, and so on. In my capacity as a Disability Support Worker at Life Without Barriers and ITEC Group, and team leader at BDMS Community Services, I have applied my knowledge and skills in providing individual care to clients with various disabilities. My experience includes organizing and facilitating outings and recreational activities, community engagement and social inclusion for clients under my care. I have supported clients in developing their essential life skills and promoting self-advocacy
