Disability Support Worker, Disability Supervisor for Assisted Accommodation Support Coordinator / Care Manager and Care Coordinator. DUTIES: • Supporting Aged Care clients in their home • Respite care and overnight shifts – Aged and Disability • Assist in day programs in house with 15+ clients • Assist clients with personal care • Prepare and cook meals for clients • Assist with Social Support for clients and transport to appointments of shopping • Domestic assistance within the home • It’s my greatest passion to assist and help clients with life skills and guide them through tasks that they are struggling with. My passion is to enhance my clients independence and motivate them to try new things that otherwise they wouldn’t attempt and to live their best lives. Asking the client what interests them or what would they like learn / achieve. Do my research and depending on the client and their understanding i would break down the task into smaller steps. Lots of patience and taking it slow. All small steps are a win.
