I wanted to become a Social Carer because l have a passion and the values and principles connected with social worker connect with mine.Having worked for more than three years in this field,l developed a genuine heart of care to the disabled and the aged.l want them to access independence in their daily living and get someone who can have a listening ear and respect in their own choices.l want to put a smile on their faces and make them happy everyday hence adding more years to live. Some of my hobbies include cooking,writing,painting,participating in community activities and supporting in children's groups. I am passionate and concerned about people and their needs by supporting them personally, physically and emotionally to help them feel independent,confident and part of the community. My skills revolve around communicating effectively,empathy,honest,patience,problem solving,reliable, professional, value team work and treating people with respect and dignity. An interesting fact about me is that l am easy and quick to learn and all the people l have supported in my life really get attached to me and get to have a true meaning of living.l am very flexible and treat them equally that they do not feel offended or isolated in the society.l go an extra mile to do what it takes to put a smile on their faces.
