I have always been somebody that loves to be around people. Caring for and support others is a skill that I have always gravitated towards in my personal and professional life. Last year I graduated with a double Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services at the University of Canterbury, NZ. My degree has built upon my knowledge and connection with people, allowing me to understand the importance of interpersonal awareness, communication, reasoning, and compassion. I love building connections with people and learning about peoples interests and hobbies. I am someone who loves the outdoors, sharing stories, painting, and getting creative in the kitchen. I find a lot of joy in providing people with support that helps to make their lives a little bit easier and more enjoyable. I believe that respectful and non-judgement environments are extremely important as it is our differences that makes us special. I would love to be able to share my hobbies of painting and cooking with someone in the community that was also shared these interests. I would encourage the individual to get creative and offer a safe space for mistakes to be made and interests to be explored. I would also greatly enjoy going for a nice walk in the outdoors, learning about the individual and enjoying some relaxing fresh air. I have a wide variety of hobbies and I would be very open to explore new activities and subjects that others enjoy.
