For the past 13 years I have worked in disability support, specialising in support for individuals with special needs. I look forward to the opportunity to work directly with clients and their families in Brisbane through the Mable platform. When I’m not assisting others, I love spending time with my family and travelling and gardening and photography and bird watching, hiking, camping and lot of outdoor activities etc… I love to be in nature all the time😊 Supported individuals with special needs and helped them gain independence in their homes and communities. Assisted in basic living skills, goal setting, communication, community interaction, and recreation. · support to attend appointments. Earned respect and trust from participants and well as from co-workers. Earned high regards for Program Manager and received highest employee performance bonus available Provided one on one outreach to fit the child's needs within the community. This ranged from gaining social and communication skills to instilling knowledge on independent living and successful job seeking. Participated in the planning of programs geared towards the Options for Youth therapeutic program. Devised therapeutic based activities that would engage the clients to work together on completing goals. ^& ^&my personal opinion is ,When we share our talents and gifts, we open ourselves up to new opportunities and experiences. This can lead to personal and professional growth. It enhances creativity - Using our talents and gifts can enhance our creativity and problem-solving abilities. gardening and outdoor activities are my any time passion. i will invite the community groups, spends lot of time in the nature benefits everyone in all other possible ways ^&
