I am a 44-year-old Fijian mother of three, and for over thirteen years, I've owned and operated a small cleaning business on the Gold Coast as a sole trader, catering to a niche clientele. Now, I'm looking to work part-time in the care industry, preferably providing individual home assistance to suit my new family and personal circumstances. I am bilingual and fluent in English, and I have been NDIS Worker Screening registered (with a Yellow Card) for three years. I bring valuable experience from working with an NDIS provider, offering cleaning and home services to their clients. This has equipped me with a solid understanding of industry standards and workplace requirements. As a meticulous, healthy, and active individual, I can work unsupervised and independently, always paying attention to detail and following instructions carefully. I possess the flexibility, common sense, and sound decision-making skills required for care work, where safety is paramount. My good communication skills, initiative, reliability, and maturity, honed through my experiences as a mother and a working adult, are complemented by my friendly disposition and willingness to go the extra mile. Hospitality and care come naturally to me, stemming from my diverse cultural background and my 100% can-do attitude and positive spirit. I am always eager to learn and take on new challenges.
