I love being around people and having a very compassionate side to me I feel its my calling to give back to my community and support those in need. I am divorced and single and have a beautiful companion, my miniature dachshund. I also have a daughter who lives in Sydney. I am a very homely and family orientated person, take pride in my home and love cooking and always busy with various projects around the house. I come from a large family of 8 siblings with no mother in the home. The older siblings would take care of the younger siblings to support my Dad. This was a great lesson for me. In 2013 I had open heart surgery. I was very fortunate to receive great care and support at PCH. I realised how important it was for me to receive this support for my rehabilitation. I am a very reliable person and can be depended on when needed. I am respectful individual and will always have regard for your feelings, wishes, rights and dignity. I am trustworthy and honest and our relationship will be based on integrity. I will be kind and considerate in my approach to understanding and helping. I am a pleasure to be around, have a very positive outlook on life with my glass always half full. My motto in life is to focus on the positive things and be happy so will most definitely encourage you to do the same as part of my support to you. I am a very engaging person and have quite a curious side to me and would love to learn more about who you are and your life's journey. ^& ^&I found by playing board or card games was the most effective way of sharing my hobby. It encouraged spoken communication and eye contact, which is a great way to start a rapport with a person. It also creates a positive impression for them and allows them to feel relaxed and have fun while learning a new game. ^&
