Hi I'm Jo, I'm 46 years old and have 3 teenage children, all either working or at school. I believe I am very adaptable, caring person but also a good listener. I have enjoyed helping people with both behavioural and medical needs the past 4 years. I have experience with all types of care but really enjoy achieving goals with my clients. I love being outdoors, camping, fishing and sitting around a fire. I also enjoy being around my family and home with my children, turtles, dog and fish. I believe I can contribute in many ways to encourage and build value to someone's goals and aspirations. I have a friendly, open personality and in the past 4 years I have worked hard to build trust and rapport with many young people from 3 years to 18 years and also adults with different support needs. When I get to know someone, I find out their interests, goals and abilities and then create an environment where we are both safe, comfortable and experiencing the world. For example if a client enjoyed fishing then we could research together where to go, tide times and have the right equipment.
