My motivation to become a Social Carer stems from a deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. I've always been driven by a sense of empathy and compassion, feeling a strong urge to support and uplift those who are vulnerable or in need. The role of a Social Carer aligns perfectly with my values and gives me the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of others. I believe I will be good at this role because of my inherent qualities and skills. I am patient, understanding, and a good listener, which are crucial traits for providing effective care and support. Additionally, my ability to communicate clearly and build trust helps me to connect with individuals on a personal level. I am also adaptable and resourceful, capable of handling various situations with sensitivity and professionalism. My commitment to continuous learning ensures that I stay informed about best practices, enabling me to provide the highest standard of care. Finally, I have a deep-rooted care in this field of work as my mother was diagnosed with Early-onset Alzheimers when I was just 16 - I know first-hand the struggles & what is needed to be a carer, as I am now 22 and the guardian of her. I have a diverse range of passions and hobbies that bring joy and fulfillment to my life. One of my greatest passions is riding my motorcycle. There's something incredibly freeing about hitting the open road, feeling the wind, and exploring new places on two wheels. It's an exhilarating experience that combines adventure with a sense of calm. Photography is another passion of mine. I love capturing moments through the lens of my camera, whether it's the beauty of nature, the hustle and bustle of city life, or the candid expressions of people. Photography allows me to express my creativity and see the world from different perspectives. I'm also a HUGE movie lover. I enjoy immersing myself in different stories, genres, and styles of filmmaking. Movies are a great way for me to unwind, be entertained, and learn. Travelling is another activity I deeply enjoy. Exploring new destinations, experiencing different cultures, and meeting new people enriches my understanding of the world and broadens my horizons. Every trip is an opportunity for adventure and learning. Spending time with my loved one, especially my girlfriend, is incredibly important to me. Whether we're going on adventures together, watching movies, or just enjoying each other's company, these moments are precious and meaningful. Lastly, supporting my mother whenever I can is something I take great pride in. She has always been there for me when I was younger, and now it's my time to return the favour. Being able to help and support her in any way is always a priority. Whether it's assisting with admin support for her carers or simply spending quality time together, it means a lot to me to give back to her.
