I'm a 22-year-old female who moved to Brisbane from Bundaberg in 2018 to pursue my studies in psychology and justice. I have a fun and bubbly personality. I am a hard worker who enjoys planning activities and events for my friends. I have secure social support and live with secure housemates. I believe I would make a great social carer as I enjoy socialising with new people, and experiencing and learning new skills and activities. I'm currently a Lifeguard at Southbank, where I consistently interact with the public and currently hold a proficient First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation Technique certificate. I have a paid blue card, open driver's license, boat license and jet ski license. I believe by becoming a Social Carer I'm able to assist individuals who require support through a safe and comfortable environment. I've had limited experience working with people who have intellectual disabilities, however, through schooling I assisted my mother who works with intellectually disabled students. I am a nonjudgmental, inclusive mindset and am open to working with anyone who requires extra support during their daily life. ^& ^&I'm an active person who enjoys outdoor activities and sports, such as touch football, swimming, hiking and other outdoor adventures. I'm currently playing social touch and attend the gym regularly. I also enjoy watching documentaries, anime and Marvel. ^&
