Despite changing career goals many times as I’ve matured, I’ve always been focused on the same goal of helping people. It’s no surprise that support works rewarding nature has been a perfect fit for me. In this role, sometimes assisting with what seems like a menial chore to some can bring a great deal of joy to others - this in turn brings me a sense of fulfilment in my work. I’ve been told by others that while I am a hard worker, the attribute that makes me most suited to care work is my extremely calm and approachable nature. I know very well that it can be extremely hard to accept help, therefore I always ensure to build trust with my clients more than anything else. This also allows me to get to know clients and their needs on a deeper level so I can provide effective assistance. Overall, I believe my great passion for this work makes me a great carer!^& ^&I love all things gardening, especially orchids at the moment! I’d love to help someone create a beautiful garden that brings them joy - I find gardening to be an extremely rewarding hobby that also gets you outside and in the fresh air. There’s nothing better than sitting in your garden, or even with your indoor plants while knowing that they’re a result of your own efforts!^&
