I genuinely love people, in all their quirks and individual ways, and I’ve always been kind and empathetic. I like to spread good energy, cheer up others, basically affect them in a positive way. I love making others happy and if I think I can help them in any way, I jump at the chance to. I worked in a Psychology clinic for the last 7 years, and had a reputation for being friendly and helpful. It’s from here that I started doing some support work, during the lockdowns, when I could no longer carry out my usual therapy (Neurofeedback). I realised I loved being out in the community and going to the homes of the NDIS clients that I worked with. My passions are Yoga, trying to incorporate wellness into my life, cooking healthy food, dancing, talking about philosophical topics, and I love animals and nature. I have experience in helping Support Work clients with their grocery shopping, catching public transport, attend appointments, offering companionship during outings, exercise and yoga for a girl with ADHD who didn’t want to go to school, taking blood pressure readings and encouraging someone with high blood pressure to go for walks and eat healthy, and more. I have coaching and Personal Training qualifications that could help with macronutrient balance, exercise, issues with weight, body image energy, fatigue etc. I don’t have to use these with Support Work clients, but the knowledge is there if ever needed. I am looking forwards to getting to know whoever crosses my path next!
