How we help
We provide social support through activities like arts & craft, exercise, household tasks, grocery shopping, transportation, and companionship for social events.
Carers you can trust and rely on
All our Social Carers go through a comprehensive vetting process. We only approve applicants we'd want looking after our own families.
- An online test to ensure they will honour and uphold our Community Values
- All appropriate industry checks (e.g. NDIS Worker Check for those supporting NDIS participants)
- A minimum of two glowing references from previous colleagues and personal contacts
- Where social supports are involved, a group interview to evaluate problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with their state government's requirements

Where we're located
We have Social Carers across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia. We also offer phone and video bookings if you live out of area.
NDIS funding
You can use your NDIS support plan to pay for your bookings and get a helping hand or someone to hang out with, whenever you need it.
Aged Care Package
Have an Aged Care support plan? You can use it with us! Like Family can help you feel independent and lend a hand with your day-to-day activities.
